Power Daycare Center
History
Power Day Care Center (PDCC) a not-for-profit community base facility located in the West Pullman area, near Halsted and 123rd Street was established on June 19, 2000 to provide full day care for children 6 weeks to 6 years old. Power Day Care Center opened with the capacity to service 30 children: with 6 full time employee and 1 executive director. We now have the capacity of two levels to serve 55 children from ages 6 weeks to 12 years old with 8 full time employees, 1 part-time employee and 1 director.
Vision Statement
Our vision is to provide quality childcare in a safe, loving, supportive educational environment for families needing infant, toddler, pre-school and school age care in the West Pullman area. PDCC seeks to create a culture in which every child is respected and challenged to learn and excel.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to offer a program that meets the intellectual, moral social, emotional, and physical needs of each child and to be a support network for the families attached to our center as well as in our community. PDCC aim to help mold and train our students so they will be prepared to meet the challenges of elementary school.
